Laurie - How was the date and the entist? You are totally awesome (I know, I met you) so if the guy didn't think the same he's an idiot!!

Finally ate solid food today but still afraid to eat too much or rather chew too much. I think dental work is the magic pill to loose weight. I moved my goal weight down since I'm still loosing and another 10lbs won't hurt - I'm halfway there Smile

K,I'm off to bed. 3 points for me Wedn (no fiber again and no cardio) and 1500 steps. I'm feeling bad about the steps since I've been behind the desk and not really able to get any good cardio in but I'm feeling positive about today Smile

I tried Susan's spaghetti squash recipe yesterday (from July 7 thread) with a couple changes: made it in a big lasagna pan instead of keeping squash in the shell - had squash on one side, other half was noodles because some of my kids are "squash-resistant" - used veggie meatballs - it was awesome! definitely a keeper.

it's art fair in ann arbor today - hope to find some time to go walking around, my boss tells us all to take 2 hours off during the fair to go explore, if we can fit it in. Smile

Morning all,

Steps for Tues the 16th 7,337 and four points ( I think ) sometimers is setting in lol!

My fitbit is not syncing right now so I will have to post 17th steps later but only three points yesterday - no strength and oops had a snack at 9:45 right before bed. The will power just flew out the window.

Meg - I loved the recipe also and will definitely make it again.

We have enjoyed some much needed rain the last couple of days but ok, I am ready for some sunshine and pool time.

Back to work!

Morning all- Up early today, again not by choice. Kiddos. Didn't feel very good yesterday. Must be in the air. Sorry you are sick too Sherry. Get well soon!!! Hoping today is better. tried to do 4 miles on treadmill last night, well that was my goal, but only got two in. Lizzy was crying. Dad is gone to come to the rescue. Ugh. Next week will be a challenge since he will be gone. Oh well do what I can do!!! Steps for Wed 8410-probably more but didn't wear fitbit to the pool. 3 points, no strength and ate after dinner.

So glad you Meg and Pam liked the squash recipe. I need to try it with meatballs!!!

Pam I would like a little rain. 20 days without any! Ugh

Renee little jealous you are at goal and setting a new one! Awesome job!

Meg enjoy the fair. Great boss for letting you have some time to have fun!!!

Not much planned today. Swim class this morning. Really need groceries.

Good morning Sassies! I am still beyond tired. Last night I went back to the church to finish the floors. Well the guy was supposed to have gone in the morning to finish the floor so when I got there all I had to do was tile it. Well when i got there he just got there 30 min before me. So i had to help him cut plywood and stuff. So we did that for about an hour and then i finished the tile. When I got home I was covered with sawdust! After i got home i ate my dinner and then did my strength. Thankfully we will start back next week.

Morning All. My husband returned from his trip last night, so at least one part of life will be closer to "normal" for a day.

Tuesday - 4 points (6027 steps on my run)
Wednesday - 4 points

I don't have accurate steps. The $10 pedometer I bought falls off my waistband very easily and erases all steps when it falls. I started putting it on the inside of the waistband, but then it doesn't record steps. My phone guesses my steps when I track my runs, but I think the default is a longer stride than I take so the steps are low - close enough.

I do laps and aqua-workouts in the pool with the kids every afternoon (something we stared when we moved to Atlanta three years ago). That first summer I could barely do 10 laps and didn't know how to keep water out of my nose. Yesterday was one of only two days I've been able to do laps this summer, and I did 40 laps no problem. Bring on the progress!!

Danielle - I cannot imagine where you find the energy, but it sure sounds like you are a tremendous blessing to your church.

Susan - I could never do the treadmill with kids either, it was a magnet for mine until they were about 9. But I was given a really old exercise bike, not flashy, no lights, parts only moved when I peddled - no attraction for the kids. I lost 15 pounds one summer just peddling away while the kids watched their hour of TV. I say do what you need to do to make it work for your family.

Hope u have forgiven me. Walked dog this morning, did abs,it,s suppose to be in the 100,s so got that out of the way.

Renee, TYVM,Dentist 98.00 with a crown needed for 1600. Not happening soon.
Date went well first guy I could hang with. He drag races in straight line instead of circle sounds noisy. It,s only takes 10 secs tho. So I can be supportive for 10 secs. Are u getting a crown?

My reports seem to be the same everyday. Yesterday was 4 pts.

Today is all about me! It is my birthday. I weighed in at 153 this morning, so I changed my weight so I could see it on my ticker! For the last week or so, I will drop but come WI day I am the same. Not today!!! Work friends took me out for breakfast this morning. Had my fav...BLT and a fruit bowl. The bacon gets me every time. Tomorrow I will have gained 2 pounds!!! That's ok, I know this. Drinking water like crazy right now. But today, I get to see 153!!!

First chance I've had to check in, been waking up at 6 everyday so I could have some relax time. I tell ya, yesterday morning seems like last week the days have been going nonstop! Did get to jthe ocean, one day Smile I am not tracking or anything. I do have my pedo somewhere, and am getting in a fair amount of steps. Miss you all! And regular beds and schedule. Vacation can be so exhausting!!

Hi Laurie,

I cooked the squash first - then when I was fluffing it up with the fork I just scooped it out into the pan at that time. Since the squash was hot and the noodles were hot on the "kid side" of the dish, it took only a short time to melt the cheese. Just had leftovers for lunch, yum, yum!!
