Good morning - back to work today for me!

yesterday - spent a lot of hours in the car, and ate hotel breakfast, fast food lunch and dinner, but I made good choice, given what was available. I was kind of worried but turns out I was under for calories and OK for fiber. Smile

steps: 7,636
fiber: 26.7
strength: did my meditation in the old pine forest at Harkwick Pines.
log food: yes
no snack: yes

5 points

weigh in: down 1 pound. Smile

I am grateful for:
a wonderful weekend with my family
my mom watching our dog this weekend
my health
being able to make my husband laugh
my sister being in town

(my gratitude theme: family!!! Smile )

Sarah - thanks for the tip about fitbit app for i-device - I installed it on my iPad and found on for my droid phone, too! Why didn't I think of that.... Smile and my real steps for Saturday were 14,229.

Becky, the fitbit is my first pedometer, so I can;t compare, but it is pretty accurate for me when I have tried comparing my count to its count for short distance.

Renee, hope all goes well at the dentist!

Good morning,

Yesterday went with the kid's to visit hubby's mom. It is always an interesting visit and that is the kindest way to put it. Didn't eat very good yesterday, no breakfast, late lunch of lasagna, salad and garlic bread, and no dinner unless you count the watermelon I had after I got home.

Saturday steps - 5,391 and four points - no strength
Sunday steps - 9,617 and three points - no on fiber or meditation

Wishing you all well today.

Just saw the new strength routine and I'm super excited!!! Now this is my type of workout!!! Can't wait to get home and knock it out! lol

Sorry I haven't posted anything other than my stats the last couple days. We are in the process of renovating our church. I go to a small family church and currently it's all women lol. Also, I'm the youngest! So I went with the pastor and my mom over the weekend to Home Depot to get the supplies to start with the kitchen area. So I got the opportunity to load the buggy full of boxes of tile and paint. That thing was heavy! And since we aren't the most organized shoppers, I ended up hauling that thing from one side of the store to the other lol. I really didn't mind though.

Then once we got to the church, of course I had to be the one to haul all those boxes of tile up them steps! Man I was sweaty! The next day my arms were so sore! lol. Today after work we are heading over to start painting! Once the guy finishes the floor I get the job of putting down the tile! I'm glad I've gained experience from all those years of volunteering at Habitat!

As for other news, I'm down 3 pounds this week! After such a large number last week I just figured I would lose about a pound but i'm down 3! I'll definitely take that!!!

Track: Y
Strength: Y
Steps: 5054
Fiber: Y
No snack: Y
Total: 5 points!

Quitting is NOT an option!

Good morning-
I am down 3.5 this week!! I worked hard for that too! Proud of myself. Now I just need to keep working in the downward direction!!! I didn't let the weekend take control of me!!

steps for Sunday 11,520 and 5 points. My extra point was for getting back on the TM and running again. May not be new but I have not been doing it for quite awhile. Felt good!!!

Not much planned today. Pick up the mess from the weekend. Husband just informed me that he will be gone M-Sat next week and M-Fri the next week. Ugh

Enjoy your day!! Until later............cya
Susan Hope you all had a successful week on the scale!!!

Remember..............Rather than aiming for being perfect, just aim to be a little bit better today than you were yesterday!!!

Good Morning -

Sunday - 2 points
Aerobic - 4794 steps + 30 minutes belly dance
Strength - no
Track - yes
Snack - no
Fiber - no

I am finding it difficult to get the fiber point with a gluten free kitchen. I know it is possible, but my "regular" foods are not available and I don't have a routine for it yet - because I don't want to eat beans every day. I'm trying to explore this more while my niece is here, but still looking forward to high fiber cereals with my yogurt when she leaves.

May I be healthy.

Good morning. Not good news on the weight loss for me. I could have reported a loss in the middle of the week, back sliding ways took care of it for now. Back on it now!!!

Congratulations to all those who lost----Keep it up!

Track---yes, every bit of it, not pretty
Move----yes, 35 min stationary bike and 15 min hoop
Strong---a+d off, but did my own work out.
After dinner----really?!
4 pts. for the day. If I am not mistaken, 28 pts, + 1 for recipe, to be 29 for the week.

Signing off for now. Need to cut grass, a calorie burning event, which I need!! Temps in the mid-west are on the rise, so I hear.
Have a great day!!!

Hello everyone!

I have finally recovered from the concert Friday night. My friend and I drank way too much. I am too old for that. LOL!! I don't know what I was thinking...well, I wasn't thinking. The biggest problem was that we started so early in the day. I ended up napping before the concert, which was fantastic.

Steps for Friday were 7293 and 2 pts.
Steps for Saturday were 2267 and no points.
No steps or points for Sunday. I didn't even put my ped on.

My weight is the same as last Monday, which is great when you consider the last 3 days. LOL!! I am ready to tackle this week and move on. I'm so glad the strength has changed. I was a bit tired of the worms.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Gotta get busy!

Fri-points 5, steps 4187
Sat-points 4, steps 4201
Sun-points 4, steps 3987

Down 1lb this am & was shocked. Have GOT TO STOP sabotaging myself on the weekends!

Kat I too was letting the weekends sabotage my weight loss. I worked hard this week and no way was I going to let a few bad choices get the best of me!!! Moderation!!! Awesome job on the 1 lb loss!!

Great job to all that lost and if you gained or stay the same, just remember that YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Afternoon sassies,

This is my first break. I weighed in this morning after a perfectly good weekend of great choices and the scale didnt budge. There is always a week like this where the scale doesnt confirm your hard work but I will not self-doubt or sabotage this sassy is moving forward to goal!! I,ve let that scale determine my success in past but not today. I did strength and walked dog before work. Steps 12951 ,points 5 +1 new

Back to work, Laurie

P.S.Denise we,re same,lol again!!!!!!!!

I am greateful for 3 weeks of no zombie snacking after dinner.
I am grateful for inches lost this week.
I am grateful that I am going to make my house payment tommorrow.
I am grateful for a strong ,firm body! Okay sense of humor!!
I am definitely grateful for you!! Laughing
I want to be a free spirit in a grown up life!

Evening Sassies! Weird day today...not enough sleep last night so was in a fog all day, + overate to compensate for no sleep so felt fat all day...UGH! Really want to go home & go to bed & go to sleep, BUT will get in my evening PT session if it kills me...because I'm really feeling it right now! Hope the demonstrators stay away so the helicopters stay away.

Only have 4 more things in that 1 pile...but now there's 2 more piles!!

Evening Sassies!

Thanks for all of the good wishes. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow so crossing my fingers Smile

Meg - good going with your eating at the hotel and the weight lost. I know how hard it can be eating hotel food.

Danielle - keep up the downward trend. You're unintended arm workout at home depot sounds like fun Smile See, all that strength training is paying off Very Happy

Sherry - glad you had fun at the concert.

Kat and Susan - good job on the weight loss - keep it up

Laurie - Good job not letting the scale derail you. Some weeks I wouldn't loose anything then poof, 4 lbs gone.

Can't say that I've being doing well point wise. Managed to eat some fish tonight but other than that not eating solid food. Didn't even put on the pedometer today as I was inside at the desk almost all day. 2 points for yesterday (Monday) and a miserable 340 steps.

Have a great nite!
