Good Evening everyone. Just checking in to see how everyone did.

Laurie - No big, I just misunderstood your comment the other day. Yeah, I saw the inchworms were just transition to downward dog from a forward bend - I just don't always have that type of transition depending on the workouts. I don't own weights heavy enough to make the upright row or bicep curls do anything (which when I think about it, is a pretty exciting problem to have - progress!).

Pam - I don't know the names for the types of yoga, but I do basic poses with some videos mostly for keeping my legs, hip and back flexible because I am so new to running -lots of pigeon, forward bends, downward dogs, and some deep hip openers. I alternate with some upper body work for wrist and shoulder strength. My summer goal is the upward bow |||| I'm strong enough to do the bow part of the upward bow, but I need to get the wrist and shoulders stronger to lift a leg. (dropping 10 pounds or so would help too) And I round it out with Pilates for core strength - which I never realized was so key to running up hills. I love yoga and Pilates, not only do they make my body feel great, but they really fit my philosophy of life (doesn't take a lot of equipment, very gentle, build strength and flexibility at the same time, maintain focus and relax). It took me a while to accept that it could be as good of a workout as weights - I always saw it as exercise lite.

Night all!

May I be healthy.

Wow Jennifer, that looks intense. You go!

I slipped doing yesterdays worms. At least I got two done, don't feel to hurt, but I am done with those for today!

Evening teamies,

Won my tennis match and survived heat one of my teammates had to retire do to heat exhaustion. I brought beer to the tennis match and didnt have one, beer, yeah me!!

Jenn, I thought u might of misunderstood, thats why I said something. It,s funny I used to do pilates, and yoga and the hinging things would kill my knee. Now I do strength but I do stretch and I do love yoga. I never thought yoga was a lite exercise since u use so much of your own body weight. There is no right path just the right path for ourselves. For me I need to stretch, strenghten and cardio. I emphasize different things depending if I,m on or off tennis. Gonna check out your linkSmile

Anne, Please be careful do u have a yoga mat to do them on?

Donna, Thanks for the drive by.Miss u!!

Denise, Enjoy!!

Susan, I thought u had the parties. Didnt u have bdays last week, the aging never stops, lol

I can,t remember what everyone else wrote on first page. So I,ll call it a night and wish u sassiness. Laurie

Evening all!

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I'm taking day off (maybe 2) from cycling and running. Hate to admit it, but I think I'm a cardio junkie. I really miss the exercise!! BF is headed back home tomorrow so I have a week to get my act together. I find I bend my food rules a lot when we're together on holiday. Luckily we found a house in BC to rent for the summer so hopefully my bad eating patterns should settle down Smile
Have a great evening
