Good morning Laurie!! One cup of coffee down with some yummy flavor!!

The challenge is going ok for me as long as I have food in the house. So grocery store time again. Lizzy thinks that is my favorite thing to do. But she also thinks I am beautiful as cheese. LOL

Will have to do ab routine today since I don't go to the gym to do the other exercises. I did shoulders yesterday, does that count?

Need to get some cardio done today.

I am on day 9 of my squat challenge. I am going to have one shapely back side by the time I get done with this. Doing an ab challenge next month. anyone want to join me?

Gotta run.
Until later....................cya

Susan,U are beautiful and u do like to be prepared!! As long as you do the exercise and the minimum required count it. Strength training has such specific schedules that it,s hard to be all encompassing that,s why I post 2 choices and we are going into 3 rest days or makeup days depending on your routine. This is all about making good choices and being honest with ourselves so squat away I know u earned squat point, lol Laurie

P.s. I regrouped entered my food for yesterday. I ended up with 3 point sodium, veges, and tracking. I,m sure I walked 1000 stepsif u want to add that to total. More coffee, Laurie

Wednesday 3 and 6708 steps. Hubby went back to work today so I might be able to catch up on things. Seems I am soooo busy the days he is off.

Laurie hope the tooth gets fixed soon, with little to no discomfort. <3 I hate dental work.

Hoping I get in gear.....

Happy Thursday Sistas! And happy payday to me...course, it's all gone to continue paying off the hospital! Up at 4:30am...got in my short walk & already strength work as part of my "rest day" at-home pt...feel pretty good.

TOTALS FOR WEDNESDAY:
Points-5
Steps: 3782

Laurie-oh wow, I hope the dental issues all work out. Congrats on not turning to food.

Denise-I'm laughing thinking about the busted wheelbarrow. Don't worry about being covered in purple bruises-purple is the color of royality.

Coffee in hand & starting work...OMG, it's going to be a very busy day here.

TTY later,
Kat

I bruise easily too. I sometimes don't even know how I got them. I tried doing a squat this am. I couldn't even do one!! I hope I am doing something wrong, lol. I don't have strong legs at all. What can I do to help me get strong enough to do a 'good' squat?

Afternoon ladies,

Feeling so draggy today, cloudy outside today with chance of afternoon showers.

Steps yesterday 7,339 and 5 points

Denise I so don't miss stacking wood. My brother and I used to do that every summer with my dad.

Lunch break is almost over so I need to get my food logged before I forget about it.

BTW I still have not heard back from the support team on my challenge question. Have a great day everyone!

Hey everyone!

I am late checking in today. I am busy and still have so much to do...laundry, cleaning, grocery store, go to Y and job apps...Whew!!

Laurie, put yesterday behind you...today is a new day!!

Susan, I use sugar-free hazelnut creamer in my coffee. What flavor do you use?

Sarah, great job on the steps!! You are killing it!! Do you use other Advo Care products or just Spark?

Denise, I laughed at the thought of us squatting each time we tossed a log onto the pile. I'm sure we could get a really good workout in. Hey, purple is my favorite color!

Anne, I would say that you just keep trying. How about we set our alarms for every hour and just do what we can? I'll join you and we can see how many you have worked up to by 5:00. So do them now and then at 2, 3, 4, and 5. Are you in? Anybody else in?

Chanda, glad you are here!

Kat, I still have coffee...

Give me a high five for Wed and 4046 steps.

Gotta get busy!
Sherry

Pam, we were posting at the same time. Hope you perk up and have a great day!

just saw the every hour squat...I only managed 5 lunge squats/each side....those are almost impossible for me. I'm afraid I am doing them wrong, it's just because they hurt so bad, lol. And I did 10 squats from standing/legs spread position, much easier.

(if I don't post, I'm afraid I wont get them done!)

Great job, Anne. I also did 10 and will shoot for 15 at 2. I dislike lunges and so I don't do them very often, just squats.

So far today I have done 45 squats. Mowed the yard and now need to think about what is for dinner. Thinking breakfast for dinner!!

Sherry I use the same flavor. I don't drink much coffee but when i do, I can't drink it black. Ugh!
Really need to do treadmill tonight.!

Sherry, I also like the meal replacement shakes for a quick lunch or dinner when I can't decide what I want to eat. I get them cheaper through my Zumba instructor and her hubby than I did getting them from the gym owner. A tub of Spark costs me $40 and a box of the meal replacement shake mix costs me $35. I like the Mandarin orange flavor of Spark and the Chocolate or Chocolate mocha flavor for the meal replacement shakes.

Anne, I ended up with 40 total. I missed the ones at 3 and only did 10 at 2. I also did 100 step ups. Still have to do strength of the day.

Sarah, I wish I could afford to do the 24 day challenge. I would love to try it. Maybe I will, when I find a job...
