I pulled my calf muscle on Saturday while doing a clinic with my horse, (hadn't been on a horse for training purposes in 6months), so now the rest of my sore muscles are good but my left calf muscle is still very tender. It hurts to touch it, makes balancing without a shoe on very hard, and is definitely preventing me from running right now. Any ideas besides ice and ibuprofen to help me get through this more quickly so that I can get back to running?
