As i am new to this site this is an ideal challenge for me.Having used the cycle to work scheme to purchase a new bike Last year its a good opportunity for me to get back in the saddle now the weather is starting to pick up a little.10 miles to work and 10 miles back should be a doddle in 12 weeks...fingers crossed.A lot of firms participate in the cycle to work scheme and i would highly recommend it.I work for post office and got a bike from Halfords last year.Just £3 per week.I`ve paid for the bike 5 times over with the saving in fuel....

Welcome! Yes, if you bike to work everyday, you will be able to reach 1000 miles before the 12 weeks are up! Smile

I've been cycling to work, 5 mile each way, almost every day for over two years now.
Fat Old Guy On Bike. There is a trend here. I would be really self conscious about it if it weren't for the fact that there are so many of us Clydesdale's out there.
