So I did a bit of research, and I'm doing both P90X and Insanity at the same time. There is a hybrid calendar that helps you balance both.

My muscles haven't felt as engaged as I'd like them to with Insanity alone since it's focused on cardio, so I'm hoping this will give me the boost I need. Of course I haven't started month two, when things get really crazy with Insanity, so I'll reeavaluate then.

Sorry, I'm seeing this on the Insanity challenge, not the P90X challenge, but was curious. Have you done a round of P90X yet? I've done P90X and am in my first 2 weeks of Insanity. They are such different workouts and my goal when I'm done with Insanity is to do the hybrid. I think the hybrid will be a good mix of cardio and strength. Hope it works, you'll have to keep us posted.
Goals for 2018:
Do 20 consecutive push-ups
Use 10 lb. weights for a whole workout
Get one mile pace under 11 mins.
Get stronger physically and mentally
