Just did my first 20 squats and trying to figure out how to put them in my exercise diary. Any suggestions? Smile

According to wiki.answers.com it is this formula:
(wieght in lbs) x (.096)= ( calories burned per min) x ( total min worked out) = calories burned

It took less than 5 minutes to do them this morning but still felt it in my legs and thighs.

That formula is correct. You can consider them as calisthenics on your exercise diary. Typically sit-ups, jumping jacks, knee lifts, lunges, and squats fall under that category.

You are welcome. If you do not want to put them under calisthenics, you can input them as other and use your formula. That way you know it is showing the correct amount of calories burned.

I've been putting them in as other and using the formula. However, I think I like putting them in as calisthenics. Surprisingly, they were about the same calories as using the formula.
