We are currently taking on ships stores to the hold , and her galley will serve up what ever you desire.

Know well too that whatever recipe tempts the beast within you will be brought aboard by some other crew and looking over there menus may give you some great ideas but surly can foul your lines as well so take heed.
So I caution you to provision for yourself and others wisely and eat from your own stores and not fall victim to other crews whims....Bring aboard only those foods that will fuel you well and long into the day as we only eat 3 squares on this here ship... and sleep walkin the galley is a bludgeons curse....What morsels you scrounge other then your squares is up to you but don't leave your post or duties left undone to do it...All food you et must be logged down,
Items that store well and long are best aboard and good fur ya... and I'm not talking the 100 year shelf life of Twinkies or Coco Puff's here either Mates!. No!... it makes it best to leave those empty lots behind for the wharf rats to consomme and work their devilish end.

But your free as the wind and no set rules or codes in table manners or fare will be enacted on this here voyage. Just remember the rules of the ship and make record of all your ill gotten gains. For its in this battle we win our collective prize and ti’s better then to look upon Davy Jones plunder itself say I.

Ey eat well I say, its an ill wind blowing when the stomach meets the back bone...for it makes for a long watch and a cold night creeps into your bones to wreck havoc with sound mind and good judgment and no rest be gotten when you be thinkin nothin but food..So best not be skippin meals as you never know what the sea will bring and you may wish to feast on sweet memory's past but no nourishment be found in them.

Now load up I say on what good recipe ye have to share... for my galley stove waits and pots debate on what is for supper time.

Crockpot Vegetable Soup

4 cups vegetable broth or stock (low sodium is best)
4 cups tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. dried basil leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
2 (14 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 head of cabbage, diced

Mix all ingredients except cabbage in a 4-5 quart crockpot. Cover crockpot and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours until vegetables are tender. Stir in cabbage. Cover and cook on HIGH setting for 30 minutes until cabbage is tender.

Feel free to add other vegetables as you see fit! I have added okra and zucchini and it comes out delicious!
