Hello everybody, thanks in advance for joining in the challenge. I wanted to share some of my personal experience in dieting and workouts.
First a few words about my situation. I usually maintained healthy weight of 52 kilos / 114 pounds (for my height 164 cm /5.4) For some time I even had about 48 kilos / 106 pounds and that was really nice, so that's still my goal. But this winter I went skiing and received an injury (knee ligament rupture) I had a surgery and stayed at home for a long time. So I gained about 10 kilos (22 pounds) because of low activity and boredom

At last I can do gym (but no fitness yet, which is much better for me

) So you see I have to get my figure back now

Now, about the way I've choosen to get thinner and healtier.
1) The DietI totally checked 1200 kilocalories diet on myself. It's good for geting thiner and also for maitaining healthy weight (with is the same but with little bit less strict standarts). I used to count my calories for more than a year. This diet by itself lets you loose a little bit more then a pound a week, but in combination with physical activity, drinking a lot of fluids and maybe some yogurt days (will write about them later), you can loose couple of pounds a week! The trick of the diet for me is to consume mostly low fat products: vegetables fruit, low fat dairy products, boiled chicken etc. When the products are low fat, you can eat more of them, score 1200 kilocalories a day and not get hungry often

It's pretty easy, if you worked out a system.
2) Yogurt daysOnce a week for the whole day I eat only 2 litres (0,5 gallons) of very low fat yogurt. Also I can eat some cottage cheese or hard cheese. And maybe 1 banana

This helps to clean my intestines for better digesting.
3) Gym and swimming poolAs I cannot do any fitness yet, because of my surgery, I chose gym. I workout about 3 times a week for an hour and go to the swimming pool once or twice a week. Doing sports boosts my metabolism and I loose weight faster.
4) Also I do hoop for my waist about 20 min every day, use my
concussor and do some body mud wraps at home to loose even more inches from my lower body and waist.
I've already done such marathon for fewer kilos and it worked! Hope this time I will loose from 10 to 15 kilos until summer 2013
