Hello every my name is Tasha and I need some advice on snacking and eating dinner. I'm worried that I will get tired of eating salad everyday. If anyone has sucess stories with the Atkins that is also encouraging. Thank You I look forward to starting this diet.

go for meat and don't eat salad all the time you can eat fat and meat even if it's not super lean and still lose weight on low carb. I don't know where you live but Kroger has great carb control yogurt with only 3 carbs and wal mart over by the deli section sell's these great things called Joseph's stone ground whole wheat flax lavash bread there like big rectangular wraps and they also make pitas you only want to eat one serving of these types of things a day but there like 4 net carbs and they taste good. you can toast them right on the rack in the oven and make pizza or pre toast the pitas after splitting them open and making two out of one and make tostada's and meatloaf with just the eggs and onion and bell pepper no crackers is always great i still put the ketchup on top i just use the heinz reduced sugar. just experiment and look up the mim's on muffin in a minute. I have to say flax meal is my biggest find. you can make flax pancakes or fry things in it instead of flour. it is zero net carbs. i have lost a decent amount of weight eating these exact things and i have a low carb threshold for losing my on going weight loss number is only i think about thirty something i lost 17 pounds in a month and a half eating these things and more weight lost besides that, find out what you love and eat a little decadently sometimes that's what makes this way of eating so different. p.s. i use turkey burger and dont fry everything but sometimes we go all out. big help with these ideas

Those are all excellent ideas. I am going to have to find those lavish bread things and I never thought of using the flax meal to bread things with! : > This is a great idea for menus and recipes. I have made tow of the quiches and the green enchilada bake! ALl are wonderful and freeze great!!

I have been eating a fair number of salads but also lots of other things. Egg dishes, meat, cheese, etc.

I do like Lavash though I feel like I need to be very careful about wheat causing cravings and usually only use a 1/2 serving (1/4 sheet). But I like having the sandwich/wrap feel.

I also like flaxmeal and almond meal pancakes and just made some pumpkin muffins with almond meal that are great (but 5g carb each).
