Challenge Forum: WTF.... Frustrated!

At decently last week, worked out 5 days, maintained a positve attitude as I really thought I was going to finally brake through the plateau I hit last September.... but no, gained 3 lbs! Hard to stay positive any time the scale goes up instead of down.

Words of Experience:
- Weigh yourself FIRST thing in the morning (within 5 mins) after you use the restroom
- Don't eat heavy before bed
- Try to eat dinner by 8p.m.
- Workout sessions should be minimum 45mins/ea.
- I like to do Cardio (~3 miles is good walk/jog) the night before my weigh-in Wink And NO that is NOT CHEATING!!
And if you are just starting off with really working out again, and have included any weight training - this is likely the cause of your gain during the first week.

REMEMBER we all have good weeks and bad weeks...don't lose focus, eat smart, push yourself hard and you will break your plateau and Drop lbs!
