I went to a nutritionist over 2 years and the most important tip that I got was: "we should live a normal life, eating normal but in small portions and every 3 hours".

Another tip we should split our meal (plate) like:
- 1/2 salad and vegetables
- 1/4 protein (try light meat like fish or chicken)
- 1/4 carbohidrate (but we should avoid to mix them, for example, only pasta or rice or potatoe or bread, etc).

That's a great suggestion! I saw the Choose my plate and it was interesting and also might be helpful.
