I respect all their opinions, but I can't spend an hour in the gym and a lot of time preparing food for the next day.
I feel like I can get support here from people who know exactly what I am dealing with.
I totally agree, I had to put my gym membership on hold because I never had time to get there plus I did not feel like leaving my baby behind, especially that I only see him few hours a day, because I am working full time. I knew I had to revisit how and where I exercise and make sure I can still be around my baby! So this is how I started... I gained 44 lbs in my preg (1 year ago) and now I am here to lose the last 12 lbs (which takes a lot of work). I did not go crazy with exercise initially, so I was losing, but at a rate of about 10 lbs every 4 months. I probably could have done better but being the 1st time mom took a lot of energy by itself... anyways when I finally picked it up I started walking/running with the stroller, got a bike trailer, so I can take my son for a ride and my biggest discovery was KettleWorx, check out this website
www.kettleworx.com, I got the KettleWorx Ultra 5 (it is about $90 on the website, but you can find coupons on-line and I got it for a little over $60) if you can spend this much I really recommend it! All you need is 20 mins x 3 times a week - isn't that the greatest thing for a busy mom?? The exercises are a lot of fun and you can do it at home. The best thing is that my body started responding to it and now I feel like I am getting a little more toned, because so far I have just shrunk few sizes, but I didn't look great at all. I bought my skinny jeans and I am motivated more than ever to not only lose the rest of it, but also get my body looking better and feeling stronger than pre-preg!! Good luck to all cool moms particicpating in this challenge and let me know how it is going if you ever start KettleWorx.
