I'm sorry to hear about your difficulty uploading images. I hope you get it sorted out.
I did some further research regarding this, and these are the Fatsecret image loading guidelines:
1. The format of the image needs to be in gif or jpeg
2. Try and save your image first (on your mobile,pc or tablet) with a simple name - with no spaces or funny characters
3. It is also suggested that your images might be corrupted if the above recommendations do no solve the error
