It is said that we are not aware of what or how much we really eat. All the extra and empty calories we consume are the reason we dont lose weight. You will be amazed when you first start recording what your ingesting. It never ceases to amaze me how many calories an item will have.
Personally I use Myfitnesspal.com and app on my phone to record my food and fitness. If you take it with you, like your phone, you have no excuse not to record it.
