Great idea for a food plan. Just go at least 12 hours without eating then eat healthy low cal for remainder of day. This length of time without food gets your body to burn fat. The longer the fast the better the fat burn, so 14 - 18 hours is even better. Most important is that it inspires me to quit eating by 6 or 7 PM-- in the evening, when I most want to eat.

On the NowLoss.com site it says if you need something other than water to drink during your fast period, then it wouldn't matter if you had a black tea or coffee as long as you don't have milk or sugar in it and he said to keep away from shop sachet coffee's as they have extra sweetners and/or extra calories which defeat the purpose of a fast. He also said to up your fasting period according to your own body and if you start to feel heady or unwell don't feel bad about having something if you need it, but you can redeem yourself by sticking to fluids and keeping the calories as low as possible so that a step back doesn't turn into turning around and running in the opposite direction. Good tips!

Thanks again for adding this btw, I can feel it working already. Im looking forward to jumping on the scales on Saturday. But even better, I can visibly see my tummy getting flatter. And now I wholeheartedly believe I'm going to make it to my goal real soon!
Many Thanks Smile

I'm glad to hear that coffee is ok. It really makes it possible to postpone eating until lunchtime. And herbal tea makes it possible to stop eating 3 hours before sleep. I take a half of 1 mg of melatonin around 8 PM. Works like a charm to relax me.
