Okay this has been a really bad week for me. Last week I did so well. I ate good and worked out and tracked everything. This week I haven't been as good. I haven't eaten as healthy as I was and I haven't worked out as much as I wanted to and on top of that I am soo stressed out right now. I dont really feel like going to work out today but I know I need to. I just really feel crawling into a corner and hiding for like a month. I've some how gotten into a slump and I have trouble finding my way out of it. Anybody have any advise or inspiration?

Hey there I too have slacked this week... but don't take it so personal it all happens to the best of us. Its a constant struggle, and some circumstances hinder us sometimes. The Important part is to surround yourself with positive people and to stay positive yourself. This is why this site is so great, we are here to pick each other up when we feel bogged down! Ive found that the more friends i add the more im inclined to try and eat right cuz they are "watching". haha pressure and competition works well for me lol. But I hope nothing for the best in your diet goals...You can do it!

STRESS SUCKS, I gained 23 lbs of stress weight in 08 after my baby was born and i went back to work and I have been trying to get it off ever since (mind you the stress hasn't went any where) but its got to come off which means i had to come up with some better coping methods instead of coming home and parking on the couch with 2 hotdogs and some chips!!!! And when you dont feel like working out just committ to 10 minutes and if after 10 minutes you are still not feeling it then table it till tomorrow but more likely then not once you get moving you can keep going, we're here for you!! You can always send me a message if you want to talk I am the stressed out queen. A rambuctious 2 year old kid, fulltime working mom and student, plus i never see my husband cause i work mornings and he work nights, and yeah im broke soooooo...yeah i can relate, LOL!!

i know it's especially hard to get along with your diet,when you're stressed out. many people (including myself) are emotional eaters and a diet feels like an additional thing to do, so of course we hate sticking to it at those times(and it's also harder). but what i noticed at myself is when i'm feeling good everything goes well and the diet is a piece of cake, so try to feel good at first. go for walk, watch your favorite movie,do sports (not for your diet but for feeling good), take a long bath, get some new make up, or you can also clean up your house for example and get rid of old things... do whatever makes you feel good

I just wanted to say thanks for all the help. I have been doing a lot better still stressed but I am making myself stick to working out and trying really hard to eat healthy.
