Guidelines:
Personally recommend Herbalife products but any protein shake will do. Protein will help to keep you full throughout the day as well as provide your body with much needed nutrients to help maintain lean muscle mass as you lose weight.

Drink between 12-15 glasses (8 oz) each day. More is better!

Guidelines:
We need water to help keep us hydrated. Water also helps us feel full. Many times, we confuse hunger pains for thirst.

Add 2 small protein-filled snacks between meals.

Guidelines:
Protein bars, cheese sticks, almonds, yogurt (watch the added sugar), lean meat, hard boiled eggs are a few good examples of easy, healthy, protein-rich snacks.

Add 30 minutes of exercise 2-3 days a week--more if you are already active.

Guidelines:
We need 20-30 minutes of exercise a day. Start small if you are not use to exercising. The weight will fall off if you follow the Herbalife program even without exercise!
