Hi gyus!
Have you also noticed that successful people look healthy? Not, that all good looking people are automatically successful in their career or personal life (that's a separate challenge) ... but if you're being asked to imagine yourself a successful person, wouldn't that be a healthy looking guy or gal with no hanging belly and butt? I'm pretty sure this is what you would have in mind. And it has nothing to do with commercials and other stuff mass media trying to convince in. Because if thinking reasonably, you would most probably come to the same conclusion that a sporty, energetic person has more energy at the end of the long day spent at the office working for other people to help them to achieve their dreams. This person can and should use this extra energy to work towards his/her big goal which is called a dream (do not have one yet? Then that's the first thing to do before you take part in this challenge). 'Why?' 'Because you are worth it! You are a human - a complex highly-intelligent being. It would be a pity to waste your great potential on doing boring office or manual work which doesn't require much of your genius mind .'
Another thing is that on the way to your success you can't avoid dealing with other people. And I should say that quite often it's not your professional skills but your appearance (unfortunately) that serves as a major factor in other's decision-making. Why? Again, because success is wired with healthy appearance in our minds. And no one wants to be associated with loosers!
The bottom line is: wanna change the world - start with yourself! Fix you body, get extra energy which you will use in achieving your dream and in your everyday life, radiating success. And people will follow you! Why?.. That's right, because you are WORTH it!!! Very Happy

WOW! You're one of the people that make the world think that fat people are lazy and dumb! I am truly offended by your comments.

I am very successful in my career and work longer and harder than most people I know, and I weigh 300 pounds! And I know a lot of successful people that are overweight.

And not all of us eat because of stress. I actually have a hard time eating when I'm stressed. I've fat because I enjoy really good food, in large amounts, and I'd rather watch a good movie than go for a walk. I've also gained weight as I've become more successful in my career because I spend more time sitting behind a desk or in meetings.

You need to quit pushing your stereotypes off on other people. It is because of people like you that overweight people have a harder time finding jobs.

You should be ashamed of yourself. And few people would say that what I do at my job is a waste.

Just because YOUR life is pathetic, doesn't mean the rest of ours are!

It doesn't bother me what was said. I agree with both statements. I'm a successful person myself and was in great shape too. When I was in the best shape of my life I had a lot of confidence, especially in the work place. I injured myself last year doing squats and I've been in and out of the gym for months because of my injured back. I've put on 20lbs and want to lose it. These challenges are a way to keep you on the right track to help get results. I'm not going to let an opinion change my mind on losing 20lbs.
