Challenge Forum: mini goal

I have a few mini goals to work on. But the one that is the hardest for me is not eating after 8 pm. I take nightly medicine that causes me to be hungry. So this is gonna be a hard one for me. If anyone has suggestions for me my ears are open.
Focus & Commitment
We are going to Challenge ourselves to remain FOCUSED and COMMITTED to our set goals! These are mine for 10 weeks:
1. Lose 2 LBS a week
2. Eat 20Net Carbs. daily
3. No more than 4 ser. of sweetener daily
4. Salt intake at 1800-2000mg daily
5. Exercise 3-5x a week for 30mins
6. Water intake 64-86oz daily
7. Cal. intake 1800-1900
8. MOMS !!!!!TIME OUT!!!!! 1hr daily

I love seeing your list of goals. The last one is soooo important, too. In regards to your post, I revert to a piece of fruit and there was a suggestion I saw earlier to get a TBS. of peanut butter and have a few gulps of water by SELouisiana. Not sure about this. Make sure you ate everything and drank everything you had to do on plan? I often forget stuff. You will have extra, if you forgot. Of course I like the one healthy bite rule, too. I like to eat more protein at dinner. I have not tried the peanut butter yet. Keeping it for my arsenal.

Perhaps you should plan a meal for the time you know you will be hungry.

Thanks for the advise. I did really well last night. I ate dinner later last night. I also ate more. I made my last meal the biggest. I know some my say not to eat a lot at night but I ate within my guidlines and didn't go over my calories.

The scientific evidence behind many common recommendations is actually pretty week. What works for you is what matters, not what may have happened under laboratory conditions, not what works for someone who is nothing like you. Keep up the good work.

I agree with you all. I'm gonna keep doing what works for me. Nobodies body is the same. We all burn calories differently.
