Morning Sassies!!

Renee, I need some of that coffee this morning...

Donna, Dinner tonight will be off of the plan. Kendel and I have tickets to a wine and food festival. There will be over 650 wines to taste. We went last year and it was unbelieveable. The food was fantastic. Back on plan tomorrow for 4 days and then I'm off to Helen, Ga for Ocktoberfest with my friends from elementary school.

Steps for Thurs. were 5877 and 6 points.

Everyone have a great day!

Been missing check in the this week. And yesterday at work, moved wrong and my back spasm again. I could hardly move all day. Or sleep last night. I have to take my mom to the airport and finish work today that I couldn't get done yesterday. I don't know how I am going to make it. Sad

Don't know when I will get to catch up on posts. Soon I hope.

Morning all-

Bad night last night. Maybe got 3 hours of sleep. Son is sick and my knee really burns bad. PT this morning at 10:30. Didn't charge up my fitbit so I won't be able to see my steps on the TM at PT!!

Enjoy your day!

Good morning Sassies!!! I need your thoughts. I am seriously considering getting a NutriBullet. I want to gradually get into the juicing world. Now I wouldn't use them as meal replacements but another means of getting my veggies in.What are your thoughts? It seems to really grind up everything nicely because i am HUGE on texture. I don't even like milkshakes and smoothies! lol. The NutriBullet is also pretty reasonably priced. I also buy a lot of fresh produce and sometimes I just can't eat it fast enough and it goes bad. At least with juicing and I can just drink it down. I am trying to make a decision by Monday!

Track: Y
Steps: 4110
Exercise: Y (low impact fitness blender video from the other day)
Fiber: Y

Morning sassies!
Whew - busy busy busy!
Points = 6
Steps - 17,460
Tracked = y
Snacked = n
Sodium = 2109
Fiber = 32.9
Yesterday I taught 2 regular Zumba classes and 1 Zumba Gold class, plus I did upper body strength training for 30 minutes. Ouch my shoulder! I'm supposed to be doing it for the tendonitis in my shoulder and I haven't done my exercises for a few weeks now so I had trouble sleeping with it last night!
Donna, I'm in Oregon, and my Zumbathon is October 19th. But there are Zumbathons for Susan G. Komen Party in Pink all over the place through the end of October. You can go here to find one in your area:
http://zumbathon.zumba.com/

Danielle I have a Magic Bullet and I use it for my Medifast meal replacements. It works great! I haven't personally used a Nutribullet, but thought about getting one after seeing the infomercials.
Okay, gotta go sassies! Shower, coffee with a friend then Zumba Gold this morning, and this afternoon as well!
Then tommorrow is the big day and I will not be checking in until later tomorrow night probably.
Have a great day everyone! Stay strong! I'm only 4 pounds to my goal!
Thought for the day:
"There really is no secret. Hard work and discipline are what you need to succeed. This applies to EVERYTHING. There really is no secret--or shortcut--that will get you around this. Get to it. Now!"

Morning Sassies,

Points for Thurs: 6
Steps for Thurs: 10,294

Got in a great Women's Total Fit Class Workout this AM then due to being pressed for time I have to leave in a little while for work I didn't get anything extra in after class. Class was hard enough that I didn't really need to do anything extra.

TGIF Sassies! In the office after an early morning appointment with the head therapist to evaluate my progress. She said my flexibility is much better, core strength is improving, shoulder & elbow are fine. She did say to not sit for more than 30 minutes & to continue to strengthen core (no problem with Monica). She reminded me that I've had 2 surgeries on the same disc in28 months & that there is a lot of scar tissue in my lower back from that as well as from multiple pulled muscle episodes. She told me not to worry & be patient, & that it might be a good idea to schedule a one-year check-up with the surgeon for an mri to see what the disc is doing & she told me to get that lumbar cushion I bought out of the box & put it on my work chair!

TOTALS FOR THURSDAY:
Steps-4612
Points-6

Laurie-I know what it's like to lose your mojo; if I found mine & know you can find yours. I have coffee ready!

Renee-get some sleep girl!

Donna-Blake concert! Lucky girl!

Anne-take care of that back!

Susan-sorry to hear little Chris is sick; hope he's better soon.

Coffee in hand & already chased office puppy around so I gues I better get to work

TTY later,
Kat

Morning all,

I am home today so it will be better than yesterday. My boss finally came over yesterday afternoon from other side of campus and we talked. I think I can function now. It just really pissed me though because I had sent her an email Wednesday when I was still at conference and told her I had a booked day full of appts when I came back Thursday. She send that word forward to muscles on campus wouldn't move furniture and such but failed to send word to IT to not mess with the computers until I was done testing Thursday. So viola, what does IT do??? Yep, moved computer crap when I need my setup to do testing. It took some doing but I was able to test everyone and everyone got printed scores even if some really didn't want to see them! Ha!

Today, hubs is mowing, I cleaned up kitchen after big breakfast and have laundry going. Sat down to some budgeting and then did some gardening. Planted more mums and cut back canna.

Pedo says 19,782 but I think that may be for two days.

Pts yesterday were 4 and 2 for Wednesday.

PT was a gentle day. Light massage and ice compression machine. Too much swelling causing the pain. Over did it on Wed and Thurs.

I was also thinking about the magic bullet but can't spend the $$$ on it right now. Between contacts and health care bills, the magic bullet will have to wait. Those I know that have one, love it.

Time to elevate again.

Gosh Susan, what a tough few weeks. Saying a prayer for you.

My back feels better, wasn't so sure this am. Now to be really careful and figure out why it is giving me fits.

Glad you all keep on keeping, helps my focus. Smile

Evening

wow, I feel like a bookend. Hope I'm not the last one to post.

Danielle - I used to juice, time consuming but really tasty. Don't know about the Nutribullet though but I would vote yes.

Susan - hope you get some sleep tonight and ICE

Megan - have fun tomorrow

Kat - yep, on my way to bed. Its raining here (Victoria) so I'm almost guaranteed a good sleep.

Anne - take care of the back.

Becky - glad you had a better Friday. Hoping you have an awesome Saturday.

Well I hear my bed calling my name - I see 10 hours of sleep in my future Smile
