Research/start eating organic, exercise, drink more water
Guidelines
Research eating organic and the reasons for eating organic- Google works best! Watch movies to educate you( Food, Inc., Forks Over Knives, etc.) Google "Best Organic Food Movies" Exercise with cardio and strength training 6 days a week. Start as much as you can and work your way up (e.g. I started on the elliptical for 10 minutes a day and over 6 months worked myself up to 70 minutes. I did it in front of the tv- I got to watch my favorite shows while my kids were sleeping and lose weight!)

Find what stores have what food that is organic
Guidelines
Go around to the stores in your area to see which ones have the most/best or best priced organic foods. I have 2 favorite stores in my city I mainly shop at but there are other stores I can go to as well. Try to stay away from boxed foods (processed). Peanut butter, etc. is something no matter what you will have to buy but organic cookies should be a treat, not a daily food. Not everything can be organic, but make it a priority to get there.

Guidelines
For me, my key food was an apple. I will only eat an apple if I am hungry. When I think I am hungry I close my eyes and ask myself, "Do you want to eat an apple?" If the answer is no- THEN I'M REALLY NOT HUNGRY. If the answer is yes, then find something organic to eat :)!

Is meat really necessary?
Guidelines
I am not vegan by any standards, but over the course of me trying to lose weight, as I was flushing bad foods out of my body I stopped wanting to eat beef. It made me sick to think about it. Then it became chicken. I only eat chicken or eggs every once in awhile. Instead I eat Greek Yogurt which is great for protein, lentils (Try Amy's soups- they are great), nuts (which are a grab and go food), etc. Again Google is our friend- "non meat protein" or something else that will show you what is good. Getting nuts that are organic are really hard to do- so if you are not able to that's fine
