I bought a snug pair of shorts and a bikini and hung it on the wall to remind myself of where I want to be. Are you doing anything special to motivate yourself?

No, not really. I can't figure out what to do to help motivate myself....other than looking at my pictures. 2 kiddos, and I'm plumper than I want to be. Need to trim back up. I hate looking at myself in the mirror now. I think actually wanting to take pictures again is a good motivator, right?

I just realized that you put May 17th as the "first day of Summer" for you. That's actually my birthday! I'm turning 30.....and so far, it hasn't been kind to my weight and skin. lol Hopefully my hormones will level off and my skin will be happy again. Maybe getting back in shape will help as well. If I can lose 10-15 lbs., that would be a FANTABULOUS birthday gift!

I like that - buying it and putting it on the wall.
I might do that...as I usually just need a pic, a quote, or just the idea that Summer is coming for me to really be and stay motivated.
It is the food this time, that I am having issues with.
Who m=knows, maybe I was eating more due to the ongoing cold gloomy weather.
I am 31 and my weight fluctuates constantly.
I cannot wait to be slimmer and feeling even more like myself again!

I'm turning 31 in 3 weeks, so I totally hear what you're saying! I always thought my 20s were supposed to be the best time of my life. But honestly, I have had the best year of my life at 30. Got engaged, made the decision to be a pescataria (vegetarian who eats fish), started new job. Now I just want to have the body to go along with my new outlook on life. Here's to the fabulous 30s!

EJLel22: I think you're right about that gloomy/cold weather. It wreaks havoc on my appetite/weight too. lol No, seriously....I always end up gaining what I worked so hard to lose. Always.

Summerdix: That's awesome! I hope 30 ends up being pretty good for me too. But first, I need to modify a few things and alter my outlook just a bit.
