Guidelines:
We need to get through 15 situps per day 5 days this first week. Proper sit-up requires your hands behind your head or crossed on your chest, sit up far enough to touch your elbows to your knees before lowering your back down without your feet leaving the ground.

Weeks 1 to 2

10 Pushups per day

Guidelines:
We need 10 pushups per day 5 days a week to stay on track for the challenge. This first week we just want to get them done. Try to do the pushups within 2 minutes but if you have to spread them out through the day that is fine too. A proper push-up, as defined by Army Field Manual, involves keeping the back straight and lowering one's body to the ground until the arms are bent parallel to the ground

Weeks 1 to 2

Walk 2 Miles

Guidelines:
Walking is a good way to start out. Try to maintain a speed of 4MPH which is just over half the speed you will need to make the 2 miles in 16.5 minutes. Take it easy the first week and make sure to do some stretches before and after. We need to go on this walk at least once per day, 5 days a week.

40 Pushups in 2 minutes

Guidelines:
Pushups must be army regulation pushups. Back must remain straight, butt down, shoulders must be squared, stomach cannot touch the ground and breaks must be taken in the dog position or on knees.

Guidelines:
Situps must be army regulation. Resting position is sitting up, knees bent at 90 degree angle, arms crossed on chest or fingers laced behind head.
