Challenge Forum: What are you counting?

I'm just curious what others are counting as far as "water intake?" Are you including coffee and tea or any other beverages, or just straight water?

Also, for the 30 minutes of exercise, are you only counting a 30 minute period of deliberate exercise, or are you including default activity and walking around through the day or at work, etc? I'm leaning toward counting any activity that fatsecret.com has listed in the exercise log, and it burns more calories than "resting" and gets you to the net -1,000 then it counts. Thoughts?

Good luck, everyone! I started this 5 days before the challenge started to see if I could do it, and I lost 4.7 pounds in those 5 days, so it will definitely work! I also downloaded an Android app called "Water Your Body," which has helped remind me and track my water intake.

Update: 7 days in (started 5 days before challenge began) and I've lost 5.1 pounds in the first week!

Good for you, fantastic progress Smile. I'm not counting tea/coffee, etc as water...I hoping to stick to the other mini-challenges but I think the chances of drinking that much water every day is highly unlikely. As for the exercise, I'm doing 30 mins of Wii Fit a day as my exercise...but I think it's a personal decision what you count.

Thanks! I love Wii Fit. I use that too, along with Xbox Kinect (Dance Central and Your Shape, Fitness Evolved). Good luck!
