My first fast I did a detox diet menu from Woman's World magazine. Basically, yogurt for breakfast, salad for lunch, and salad with fish for supper. Snacks include celery, apple, cashews (I used almonds since I am allergic to cashews). And lots of green tea throughout the day. Works okay sticking close to 500 cal/day. This time around I am also using cabbage or what I call weight watchers soup. If you haven't done a fast like this before let me tell you in advance you will be looking forward to the next meal even if you are not a big salad fan like I was. Notice I said "was". Since doing the first fast I have really grown to like salad. Favorite is chicken breast salad from Subway. Very tasty and filling. Secondly, you will start to eat "lite" on your other 5 days too. It will carry over to your non-fasting days. This is also a good way to jump start your weight loss if it's slowed. (Another reason I'm excited to be fasting still).
