I have a question about the Wii Fit. We don't have a wii so that is why I am clueless. When you purchase the Wii Fit does it have all those cool fitness things in one or is it separate stuff you gotta buy. My son wants a wii so bad he can taste it, and if I am going to purchase a game system I want something that is going to get him off his duff. We don't have any kind of gaming system in our house and I have managed to keep it that way since my son was born 7 years ago, but he wants one and I want a wii fit so I may give into him so I can play too. Before I go make this purchase I kinda wanted to know what I was getting myself into. Any info would be a big help.

I've tried my sisters. She really liked it, but I thought it was boring and not worth the money or time. As far as your son, I'm sure he would love the actual games on it, but for you, for fitness, just go for a jog! Good luck!

I do not have the Wii myself, but from my office co-workers what it comes with has a lot of fitness stuff, boxing, tennis, baseball, bowling, etc. You need a lot of controls that the basic set doesn't come with. They bought it Christmas when they had all the package deals going. I don't know much about the Wii fit, they have purchased that too, but from hearing them talk, I believe my $10 Jillian 30 Day Shred gives me just as good of a workout Smile I think kids love it, and so do adults, just can get expensive when buying all the extras.

A friend at work recommends this Wii product over the Wii Fit. Says he feels provides more of a workout. Just FYI
