Challenge Forum: DVDs don't work by osmosis

Since I have discovered that merely owning the exercise DVD doesn't seem to have any effect, I'm looking forward to this challenge ; )

LOL! I hear you. I have a few different DVD's and I think about them and see them sitting there, but somehow that's just not the same as doing them. Hopefully, I can stay committed and get through this challenge!
Goals for 2014:
Complete Couch to 5K- DONE!!!
Sign up for and complete a 5K- DONE!! 35 mins.
Plan at least 3 outings with the family that involve being active- 2 done

I think if we could learn from osmosis, I would both be much better read than I am (so many books I have yet to read), and in much better shape (let's not count the myriad workout dvds I own). But I completed day 3 of Jillian's 30-day shred, which is officially two days longer than I've ever made it in the past. =) I don't know if it's because I go in expecting to be exhausted, or because my body is actually stepping up to the challenge, but it does feel a tiny bit easier today than day 1. I'm calling that 'progress.'

Good for you! I have 30 day shred too, but honestly like Ripped in 30 better. Once you've gone through the 30 day shred you should try that one. There are 4 levels and the 3-2-1 is 30 seconds of the strength exercises instead of 1 min., but it still works you hard. Keep up the good work!
