Exercise at least 30min a day; 5x's a week
Guidelines
My gym plan: Warm up with cardio-treadmill and/or eliptical for 1/2 hour. Then every other day strenght train-upper body including abs, lower body-including abs. So for example: monday, wednesday, friday i will start with cardio then do upper body and abs. Tuesday, thursday, {saturdays optional} i will start with cardio then do lower body and abs.

My biggest problem is over-eating. So, I will simply eat less. Eat slowly, enjoy the food and allow my brain to realize my stomach is full.

Lower carbohydrate and sugar intake
Guidelines
I am aiming to stay under 150 net carbs a day- and that is being generous! For sugars, try to substitute with stevia or splenda such as in your coffee, and limit desserts and such. Seriously, don't let a chocolate chip cookie be the boss of you!!
