Can't wait to start on some challenges so that I have others to talk with...so much easier when you have a goal, accountability and others to encourage.

I agree Cheri! I just joined the 10 lbs by Valentines Day challenge. I'm looking forward to talking to others that have the same goals as I do.

Ditto Smile its the right length to mean we can't just chill out think it'll happen eventually but is actually achievable to make a difference in that time. Fingers crossed! - it may be more of a body shape change than weight loss though, who knows how it all works? xx

I spent a year losing 80 lbs. and hit a plateau in October and couldn't lose a thing. I have spent the last 2 months away from my diet and exercise, probably because I was feeling hopeless to lose anymore. But I am ready to start again and hope to make new friends along the way. This challenge is just long enough to get me motivated!

Never heard of it, but I've lost 47 lbs since Sept watching carbs, calories and fat. I need something new. I'm starting gym next week hope to tighten up some. 8 more lbs and I'll be at my high school weight 35 years ago. If you want a good jump start, drop carbs to under 20 a day and eat only good fats(nuts, fish, olive oil, butter) no red meat including chicken and pork. Try to stay under 1400 calories. If you haven't lost alot of wieght already get ready to lose 10-20 in two weeks

Yes, Julie, I did. I was debating whether or not to do Induction for a 3rd week, but opted to move on. Love my almonds!! (Which I couldn't have in Induction.)

Mjstan-
Congrats on getting through induction and for those 6 lbs lost! You've made it through the hardest part. Great job!

I studied Adkins by reading the book and visiting the website (www.Adkins.com). They have a pretty nice chat room that's a lot of fun...
