(Posted on the right challenge this time).

I think mine will have to be the painting course I start at the end of April.

Not sure yet. I think either new jeans, or a trip to my fave sushi restaurant. I know you aren't suppose to give yourself food rewards, however I have been low carbing and sushi isn't that bad for you. The restaurant is expensive, and I haven't been there is so long. They make the most amazing raw salmon belly sushi (the salmon belly seems pretty hard to find), and I would love to go there and have a normal size portion of some. New clothes are great too though, not very original but they at least last.

Yep. Though personally I don't have anything against food rewards now and again.

I'm going to have to buy a new riding jacket for this season as mine is going to be way too big to be effective, protection wise. That is IF I get the 10%. I have been stressing less about the speed of my loss lately and more about consistency over time.

Technically the "Indulgence" doesn't specify if you hit your 10%... I didn't word it that way because 10% is supposed to something to aspire towards rather than a goal (which is easy to say from 14.13% LOL).

It says "It's been a long 12 weeks" because 10% or not, if you've worked hard for 12 weeks to get where you are you deserve a something for it! And at 25lb you've worked damn hard!!! Smile

Yes, but having looked back at Feb and March (thus far) today... I've done some bloody stupid things to get there (Not consciously but I should have been more aware I was doing them).
I'm going back to more like what I did in November and January. Which means a few more calories, and more spread out over the week... Rather than one or 2 big meals and 3-5 days way under RDI to "compensate".

I think you may be able to relate to the feeling I get which I believe is subconscious; The majority of my life I let what I eat and drink (beer snob) control everything. My world was catered around when and how much I would be able to consume. It's kind of a big middle finger to be able to have that control back, and sometimes I over do it (the control, that is) just because I can.

Then again, sometimes it's just not paying attention. I can go all day on about 1000 kcals and not realize it until I get to logging it.

Yep I know that feeling well. Last week I barely looked at my days calories except when I was entering them. For some reason I knew I had overdone my RDI on Monday. But I had it in my head that I had gone over 1000k over the next 2 days. And then I made the stupid mistake of having shirataki for 2 days. And Yesterday I spent all day at my sisters and didn't want to binge on stuff so I waited until I got home for dinner, by which time I had pushed through being hungry, and didn't want to eat.

Just because I might indulge myself with a feast of grilled meats on a Monday... Doesn't mean that Wednesday through Sunday need to be spent eating little/nothing...

OK Tuesday being spent too stuffed to contemplate eating much before dinner makes some sense to me.. But that's one days effective fast, not 6!

And I seem to have done that a lot during since the beginning of Feb. Vastly overcompensating is both stupid and dangerous. That way lies eating disorders...

Agreed, there is such a thing as too much control when it comes to restrictions on diet. And yes, I do think that spawns bad things.

I know this is kind of the easy part. The maintenance and not becoming lackadaisical will be difficult.

I have a different view about maintaining. I think that so long as you continue to weigh yourself regularly and catch gains early you can afford be lackadaisical a bit.

And don't worry about threaf jacking. It's not like anyone else is chiming in. Lol
