Hang in there DC. I was recently told by a doctor that if you drink a glass a water the minute you get up, it will flush out any extra sodium in your system from the night before. Seems to make sense..I am planning to try it.

If you stick with your food diary, the longer you log, the easier it gets as the foods you eat regularly are right there! Keep at it and don't give up!

One day at a time. If you can't get to the computer during the day. Keep a paper list so you don't forget what you have eaten. You can do this!

Fat Secret also has an application for the phone. I know it does for android and imagine it would for iphone. It is very basic and for the most part is only for weigh in, food diary and exercise diary, but this is what I use on the weekends.
