Avenezio08's Healthy eating for 6 weeks Wall

After joining this challenge yesterday, I really started thinking about what I wanted to accomplish by joining this challenge. After much thought, I have decided that I want to gain control again of my healthy eating. Through our challenge of hoping to get pregnant, which is an all-consuming activity, I put on 10 lbs. 5 of it was needed but the other 5 crept up on me when I wasn't watching and now that we have put the baby issue on the back burner, I really want to get these 5 lbs off and it started yesterday. I am trying to find motivation in everything; down to my hunger pangs when the coffee/bagel cart lady comes around the office; I have one goal today- stay away from the coffe/ bagel lady. I have to learn how to celebrate the mini accomplishments, how to reward myself for the small wins that does not involve food and how to keep focused on just today for now. As lunch time creeps up, I am focusing on what the cafe will have, always a salad with some lean protein. Avoid all processed, white flour items and for the love of God, avoid the coffee/bagel cart lady.

As the weekend starts to approach, I can feel myself already getting all worked up about what I plan to eat. Planning is key for me to stay focused. I have decided to weigh in on Monday so that I will have motivation to stay on track through the weekend, usually my downfall and the reason I wake up every Monday eating myself. But not this week, this weekend I am taking control. I committed to eating healthy for 6 weeks and that's what I am going to do.
