DevonRoss's Run/Walk/Jog to a Healthier You Wall
A place to provide support and encouragement...
I have never been much of a runner... I would like to change that. My goal these first two weeks is to begin walking at lunch and evenings, at least 3 miles a day. My intent is to improve my pace to a 3.5 mile/hour pace. I will track and monitor my progress using a pedometer and watch. Today I walked 3 miles in 74 minutes. I need to get my short legs moving faster!

Took yesterday off from walking. Back at it today... walked 3.01 miles in 72 minutes = 2.51 miles/hour.

Changed things up today, went on a 10 mile bike ride with a friend. I'll be back pounding the pavement tomorrow.

Only got one day of walking in last week before falling ill with some kind of repiratory bug. I'm back at it today but feel like I'm starting at square one. Good thing the challenge is 12 weeks long.

That's so great that you've been riding bike. I too have enjoyed a few bike rides. Biking is definitely less hard on ones body and still a good work-out.
