Great job Christina. It looks like you are going to come in 5th place overall (the guy in 1st doesn't count obviously, he made a typo and could not remove it). I was not too far behind you in 9th place; lost 18 lbs. I agree it was a great challenge. I am in the couch to 5k now. Are you doing that also? I am really starting to see the weight come off now that I started running.

Couch to 5k? A 5k race? I'm not sure what that is but I am going on to do the next 'phase' and start on the first 150 miles of the 600 mile challenge. I'm really enjoying jogging more and more. And I agree jogging/running is great cardio for losing weight.

The couch to 5K is a 8 week challenge that just started here last week. I am doing the 600 mile challenge here also.I started running because it's to cold out here in NY this time of year to be outside for long periods walking. I can burn as many calories running for a half hour as you do walking for 2 hours. You burn 4 times more calories jogging! Good luck with the 600 mile challenge. I am not thinking to many of us will see that one through to the end.

I agree on people not finishing the 600 mile challenge but at least for the next 13 weeks I think I'll do the 150. Phase 2 on the other hand...we'll see. More than likely no, but we'll see. And no I'm not doing the 'couch to 5k' challenge but I am working towards completely running in a 5k ran in March. I should be more than ready by then.
