Martial Arts

This was my first sparring session. I'm the newbie white belt, and I was exhausted when this pic was taken. 

Looks like fun! Are there no lower belts to spar against or was he trying to help you improve technique while you sparred? 

It's a very small school, so there aren't too many people to spar against. At the time it was only the 3rd degree black belt (pictured), two green belts (5th kyu?), and me. 

I completely understand. At my school we have a couple of Dons (Blue Belts, the Tang Soo Do traditional equivalent of black belt), six red belts, a couple of green belts, and me (white belt currently). I take solace in the knowledge that I still land blows, even if I get better than I give.
