Ornish Diet
Prepare well for restaurants. Pester waiters with Q's. Acknowledge that compromise might be necessary and cut yourself some slack for the day. Return to your program asap--the same day or the next. Don't punish yourself for a lapse. That's my advice to myself. Hope it helps any readers too.

Remember that vegetables are free foods. You can eat all you want. Skip oil and other fats entirely. And don't eat sugar. In any form. That's the secret. Nothing new.

Ornish Diet
I follow a plant-based diet now, based on responsibileeatingandliving.co... Ornish restricts all fats, I eat small amts. of oil and nuts and seeds on occasion. Biggest help has been eating dinner around lunch time, and a small snack in mid-Afternoon. I don't eat dinner--maybe some oatmeal or a piece of fruit. Too much sitting around after lunch and on to bedtime to justify more food. Saves $ also!
