"Food for Life - Ezekial 4:9" sprouted grain bread actually has a little "Glycemic Index Seal of Approval" on it. I found it at Whole Foods this weekend in the freezer section. While I'm not a big bread eater anymore, I do like to have some on hand. I grew up eating whole grain bread, so to me, it's no different than other breads I've eaten, perhaps a wee bit "heartier".

Called Ezekiel Bread around here and is in the freezer section of our local Ingles Market and Kroger Stores. Tastes better toasted.

Whole Foods in Midwest carries Angelic Bakehouse sprouted grain breads. Also low glycemic and I believe lower calorie than the Ezekial. I keep mine in the freezer, because I don't eat that much bread, and this no-preservative bread doesn't keep well. I just toast it up when I want some.
