Eating out: Order salads (dressing on the side), grilled lean beef, chicken, shrimp or fish with no sauce. Steamed or grilled veggies. Drink water or unsweeted tea. Say "NO" to Alcohol or Dessert!!!

An excellent tip. If really feel like you just HAVE to have dessert stick with something low cal like fresh fruit or jello.
