Forgot about Dre! 218.2

Had a great night out for Wife's birthday. Sat poolside with drinks all afternoon, ate a wonderful teppanyaki dinner, and had chocolate cake. She got lots of gifts, flowers, and one of her friends were much more trashed than she was. So it was a good night.

I ate (& drank) until I felt pain in my belly.

Yesterday (Sunday) was a quiet day. Have a nice egg breakfast with toast, and grilled chicken with brussel sprouts. I have been wanting to try fresh brussel sprouts from a few recipes here on FS, and my friend. So I made them with Olive Oil, Salt & Pepper, and Garlic in the oven. They came out pretty darn good, way better than canned or frozen. Almost like cabbage to me. So another new food on our rotation.

Today I could not come to work until after 9AM due to some threats. So we were prohibited from movement from 6AM to 9AM. That is prime bike riding time, but I could not go out. So after work today I will ride.

I feel like this month has been a waste. 2 big cheat days that pushed me back a few steps. However if I look at the beginning of the month I am down 2lbs. We will see what the rest of this week holds for me. We already have plans for a July 4th party, and I have angrily told the family that there will be "No more" parties or anything until Aug 31st (My birthday).

Anyway, that's it for me today. Almost forgot about FS today, and that is not good (or is it...)

Kinda glad to see I wasn't the only one stepping off the diet wagon this weekend...we had a year end party (wifey is a teacher), so much booze and treats on Friday...both Saturday and Sunday were rough days for me. Getting too old for this crap...anyway, back to it...June hasn't been my best diet month...Just sayin'...Later.

Me neither pal.... me neither. Only rode my bike 45 minutes or so. Was wore out and lacking energy and motivation.

Hey, 2 lbs. since the beginning of the month is still 2 lbs. You know you'll suffer unnecessarily if you don't participate on July 4th; it's your patriotic duty. Just indulge less than you normally would. :)

I'll be camping with the family...Canada Day is July 1st, so we'll be celebrating the weekend before you...last year I was in Coeur Delane, Idaho for that week...man what a blast, this year isn't quite so exciting but it will do...Later. (and yes, moderation can work just don't look to me for proof of it)

Thanks DairyKing, I am going with the intent on doing what you say. The problem is these people know how to eat, and are phenomenal cooks! And yes, Madjak, I'll not look to you for proofs.
