Good mornin', my peeps.
This was a WILD, WacKy week at work. Lots of stuff to do...nice, because we needed it. But boy it can play havoc with an eating program. Things I have learned or been reminded of this week...

1) I am a stress eater

2) If I fail to prepare... I prepare to fail .
a couple of late night this week... I do fine on the lunch (prepare) but dinner.. I had to survive (LOL) on Atkins bars and the toppings from 3 slices of pizza. I also ordered hot and sour soup in a pinch for a meal...thinking it was mostly broth, mushrooms, tofu...but once I entered it in my food journal...damn if it wasn't full of carbs $)(*%@_@&*$ Cool thing here was... i felt a little of that carb comatose after eating...and I just knew it.

3) Eating cheese helps me feel satisfied. (still keeping it very close to 3 oz per day)

All in all.. .almost 20 lbs gone. Forever thankful..and not turning back.

Sometimes the true test of our determination is how well we do when we are faced with the situations that we know trigger our unhealthy eating habits. Congratulations and give yourself a pat on the back for recognizing that you were in that situation and for handling it the best you could, without giving in. You are doing great, you LOST 1.6 in 4 days, even though, as you state, you are a stress eater. Nothing wrong with eating, as long as it is the right kind of food. As you go along on your journey, and begin to truly get things under control, you will learn to manage that also. In the meantime, though, CONGRATULATIONS!! You made it through and lost weight on top of everything! Be proud of you, I am! Hope that the rest of your weekend is awesome!

Sounds like you did well in a difficult week. I find things often have a lot more carbs than I expect so I enter them before I eat them in my fatsecret menu so I can see if I am staying within my carbs. I went over yesterday because I overate my strawberries after planning to have only 1/2 c. So plans only work if you work them. You are doing great losing 20 lbs.
