FLOWERDUDE's Journal, 14 April 2010

Woke this morning, from a dream.. i was cooking for my family... and before I knew it I was making some kind of thing that had Ritz crackers, choc and oriental noodles. (sweet and salt) and was "tasting" and eating it... as I was cooking. I woke up this morning with a gasp thinking I had sabotaged myself! Glad I didn't...but still dealing with sweet cravings. WEIGH IN DAY..I have decided to lmt myself to twice a week with a goal of once a week. Overall it is a loss but kinda bummed still that I have moved from the fast "lose"lane. :) I like it better. HA! I am going back to the book to make sure I haven't missed something. Still drinking my water.. A great fellow FS member looked at my food journal and gave me some great tips which I am trying to implement. One day at a time... sometimes, one meal at a time. :)

Is there a Kroger grocery store near you? I too deal with occasional sweet cravings, and I found Carbmaster yogurt from Kroger really does help, with both the sweet and fruit cravings, and only 4 grams of carbs per carton. So does sugar free jello. I take the jello, put it in a bowl, add 2 tbsp Reddi wip, and mash it up. Very tasty. And you might think about adding L-carnitine to your vita supplements, as it helps with metabolism. Have a fantastic day! PS......I am a huge flower lover!! Have perennial beds in my yard and am in the process of putting in 6 new rose bushes.

When you are having sweet cravings, you should try something salty instead such as pickles or olives. I don't like either of these but will eat some sunflower seeds and they seem to help. 2lbs in 3 days is wonderful - don't get bummed at that.
