ate ice cream....was discouraged. probably screwed everything up
231.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 71.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.5 lb a week

No you didn't. You just had a blip as most of us do from time to time. It happens and you just need to refocus and go on. You are doing great so far!

Don't sweat it, you don't gain weight in one day. Everyone needs to enjoy life and all the flavors it has to offer. Just in moderation. Comes back to Christmas dinner. people are so worried about eating too much and getting fat on the holidays. You can eat whatever you want on Christmas day as long as you don't spend the entire month between Thanksgiving and X-mas doing the same.

If you were "dieting", that would feel like a screw-up but if you were making a "lifestyle change", ice-cream once in a while is ok. I used to diet, now I live a healthy life and guilt from eating ice-cream does not make me go on a bender anymore. You will be ok. Tip: Eat Breyers low carb ice-cream if you are on Atkins
