I should have done more research on the GI diet before I started. I tried this diet because it is not a formal diet yet it is used by Nutrisystem. Their food is too expense for me therefore I wanted to try the GI Diet on my own. I need more information about it.
245.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Have you read Rick Gallup's book, Living the GI Diet? I bought it when I realized I have a medical condition that could lead to insulin resistance and perhaps one day diabetes. So far (4 weeks now) my husband and I have found his advice fairly easy to follow. He made the comment that he doesn't even feel like we're eating diet food. I'd reccomend the book, it has a breakdown of how and why the diet works, and a lot of recipes.
