I get that the first week is ussually the best loss but I am obviously thrilled with mine. The incentive it gives you to continue is great. I need to quit getting on the scales everyday. I have never done that before and the fluctuations drive me crazy, but I can't seem to resist. I need to be more consistent with my meals. It has been a busy week and I have been lax about cooking.

ive read that gettin on the scales everyday keeps you on track of what your eating better...holds you more accountable to yourself...so i am one of them people that do weigh in everyday and i do journal my food as well, just so i can tweak it when i see that im eating more salt or carbs then i need to be ...just ideas thoughts for you...

I'm guessing you're doing low carb? Some of your meals seem random, like lunch, lol. You're doing fantastice, great job! You can learn a lot of fluctuations if you get over seeing different numbers everyday. I still have a hard time when my weight is really up but, when it's within a certain range I'm okay with it.

Well done; love the green arrow! I prefer to weigh weekly (give or take a day depending on the number!) but I agree with loosinisfun: daily weigh-ins are very informative. One of my work colleagues tracked his weight daily (spreadsheet, graphs, the works!) and found he went up as his medication aged. Soon as he got a new prescription, the kilos he'd apparently gained fell off in days, plus what he'd also lost in "real" weight. Took him several months (?a year?) of number crunching but at the end he had some pretty interesting data to take back to his doc'.
