I had to have a cheat meal after the mud run Saturday. It was a pretty intense workout running up hill, down hill, low-crawling through a foot of mud, climbing dirt mounds, tire agility, and the most dangerous trail run I've encountered. The 1200-1500 kcals of lean meats, Melba toast, apples, and veggies were really not sustaining me.

But, I'm proud of myself for maintaining a cheat meal instead of making the whole day a cheat day. I have decided that I can have a cheat meal and a dessert on Saturday. The worst part of this low fat/low carb/low starch diet is the lack of variety. The second worst part, is that I am hungry almost all day which is unlike all the testimonials claiming that I won't be. The third worst part, is no dessert. I miss NUTRISYSTEM for real.

Yesterday, I had mild irritation in my belly that I thought was dehydration. I didn't drink a proper amount of water after the race and I thought I was paying for it. So, I drank a ton of water. This morning the cramps intensified and start moving downward. I farted twice as I ran to the bathroom (no one was around), then I had a huge bm that just kind of escaped from me. Gross. Weird. Startling. Made Sense. Now I'm really eager to weigh myself tomorrow because I think I just eliminated my cheat meal and everything after it, and I might be back on track of 1 lb a day.

Tonight is homework night - no exercise.
