Good for you for getting out. I stayed for 16 long years. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done, getting out. Be proud girl!! It takes awhile, but you WILL feel better. Much much better!! Emotionally AND physically. Take care of you right now, heal, scream, cry..work through all of the raw emotions. Craziest thing after I left, I remember missing the life I left. Not per say, missing HIM and the abuse!!!...but the day in day out routine that I had as a wife and mother. It's hard stepping through the threshold of the unknown. I promise, you did the right thing and you will find your new normal. Reach for the stars darlin' you are worth it! No matter how much they beat us down to make us believe we are not! YOU ARE! I believe in you. Hugs and much love to you! ❤️❤️

It takes a while Ruby but you have your whole life ahead of you now ... without the constant abuse. So happy to see you again. I thought about you often. Welcome back!! Big Hugs!

You are worth the struggle. Just take it one day at a time...one moment at a time if you have too. I don't know you, but if you were strong enough to get out, you have the strength necessary to move on. Be kind to yourself and keep reminding yourself that you are beautiful, awesome, strong and that you deserve the best. You've got this!
