Well, I had a rough week. If things are not smooth sailing for me, it all suffers. And it doesn't take much to throw me off, believe me. Didn't feel good last Wednesday, had a day off work Thursday, literally home 4 hours over the weekend total. I packed my meals in a lunch bag and did the best I could, but it was not good enough to produce any loss. I'm not too down about it though because I can fit in my size 10s and man what a relief it was just to grab clothes out of my closet and go. I was wearing shorts I haven't been able to wear for two years! I got complements from people here and there that I saw over the weekend, so that was good. My Mom actually told me (this is so ridiculous) not to get too thin. Please Mom, I am 5'3" and 151 pounds. I don't think I am going to blow away! My BMI is still overweight, so I'm good, Mom; please....But, it is all perspective, I guess. If you've spent 30+ years overweight, that is the norm. Gosh, I wonder what it would feel like to be like 135? I haven't weighed that since 7th grade! Right now my goal is 140. I think that would be mighty fine:)
151.0 lb Lost so far: 13.8 lb.    Still to go: 21.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It's definitely tough to stay on track when you're constantly on the go. Good for you for not being upset with yourself - we just have to stay positive and get back on track as soon as we can. Have a good week and work hard - your goal is so close!

That's great, Stephanie! I can't make myself put shorts on yet :-) Yesterday was rough and I did eat food not on the diet but tried to stay with the veggies and salads. Did have 1/2 slice of ham and gained 1 pound back. I do love the fact that I fill up so fast. Even if I wanted to I couldn't eat too much bad food :-) I am impressed that you packed your food to take with you. That takes a lot of planning. Hang in there!!

My UPS lady actually commented on how much I've lost, and asked me if "everything OK??" !!! People say stupid things!!! Anyway, don't be to down about not losing durring a crazy time, for me, I'd be happy that I didn't gain! Have a great week!!!

and it starts! the whole "don't get too thin" comments...i started getting them last year, and they're definitely annoying, but always remember to stick to your goal! you're the one in control, not them!

YOu make me laugh, loveaic! Arent Moms there to make us feel oh so good sometimes? And I say that being a smart-ass. Wish my folks could understand our goals and desires in life are okay and dont always need commenting on. Looks likd you've been doing very well on your weight goals....so what ever folks say....you have proof!! You're doing well....and I'm not a cheerleader....just stating the facts. Plus you're pretty, so you got that going for ya. Have a good day! Zippy
