kingkeld's Journal, 22 April 2012

I did great yesterday. Actually, at little TOO good, as I ended up being low on my calories. I was at a 1700 calorie deficit - not too good. I think I should stay above at least 1000, since I have so little weight to drop, and since I don't want to be feeling tired from not eating enough.

Today, I will do some time on the exercise bike, 30 or 60 minutes depending on my mood, as Wife is doing awesome dinner tonight. Danish port roast, "Flæskesteg". This is a traditional Christmas dinner, and family favorite. Trouble is, the meat is kinda high on the calories, so I need to make room for it.

Yesterday's dinner, Mexican tostadas was a huge hit!

It was awesome, and it provided the ingredients for this morning's breakfast. Migas.

Okay, guys. You can stop drooling now. I promise - no more picture for today. :)

I dropped a few hundred grams since yesterday. Not a lot, but MUCH more than normal. I think I'm usually dehydrated when I weigh in Saturday mornings after jamming with the band the night before, so even when I don't do my Indulgence Days, I usually don't see a weight loss on a Sunday morning. So dropping 200 grams is amazing!

Anyways, it's family time. I will write again tomorrow.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Migas!
- Quality time hanging with Wife.
- The energy to be determined to exercise again today. Some days take more convincing than others, and today I'm determined!
- Weekend!

Take care, friends. Enjoy your Sunday. Life is good!

Great pics, Keld. Your wife must be an amazing cook. and how she's embraced Danish culture is wonderful.

Having married a great cook is a blessing AND a curse, Helewis. :) I'm glad that she's been willing to adapt a lot of it to our new life style. This way, we still have amazing dishes, but we live much healthier.

It's wonderful (but I get the curse part). I'm so glad you're appreciative and show our appreciation. WTG on the new livestyle. You guys are awesome.

I suppose when you put it that way, I should be glad my wife is not a good cook, lol. Have a great day King! Miss you!

JP - LOL! Yeah, you better appreciate that! I'm sorry I've been "distant" a little bit. Being sick, busy with work, mentally other places than right here. I'm still here, through, and I will continue to be. Journals are gonna keep coming, I can't really imagine going on without them. They're therapy for me, as you know.
